Al-Salam Electronics is a leading Bahraini institution in the retail electronics sector, founded in 1978 by Haji Mohsen Al-Bani in Al Musalla, Capital Governorate, Kingdom of Bahrain. The company is registered under commercial registration number (8821) with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

Al Salam operates five branches across Bahrain, starting with its first branch in Al Musalla, which opened in 1978, followed by the second branch in Malkiya in 2014, the third branch in Qalali in 2019, and its fourth and fifth branches in Ma'ameer and Saar on Budaiya Highway, both of which were opened in 2022. In addition, the company’s main administrative headquarters is located in Al Musalla.

Al Salam is the exclusive agent for several leading international brands in the Bahraini and global markets, including the exclusive dealership for Midea air conditioners, along with products from KASTRON, Robam, and Konka. Additionally, the company is an "Authorized Reseller" for a selection of Samsung products. In 2020, Al Salam acquired the promising online shopping platform in Bahrain, Homez.

Over the years, Al Salam has solidified its leading position in the electronics market in Bahrain, achieving a 108% sales growth since 2018. This success is driven by its management, leadership, and operational teams, where Bahraini nationals make up 95.5% of the workforce.

In more than 45 years in the market, Al Salam has built a wide customer base of over 200,000 individuals and companies. The company holds a market share exceeding 45% in the home air conditioning sector and 31% in home appliances, thanks to its competitive pricing, diverse product range, and continuous post-sale customer support. In 2013, Al Salam introduced KASTRON air conditioners, which became the top sellers in Bahrain in recent years due to their advanced technologies. In 2018, the company secured the exclusive dealership for the world’s leading air conditioner manufacturer Midea. This relentless effort culminated in Al Salam being awarded the number one position in Midea Inverter air conditioner sales across the Middle East in 2020 and 2021.
